DRAPER — Corner Canyon finished tied for eighth in the 6A boys golf championship at TalonsCove Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, closing a run of three consecutive state titles, the Draper Herald reported 1.
The Chargers shot 294 in each round for a 588 total, 26 strokes behind Lehi, which won the school's first golf championship at 14-under 562, according to the Deseret News 12. Skyridge finished second, seven shots behind Lehi, and Lone Peak third at 5-under 571, with Riverton level with Corner Canyon at 588 12. Lehi's winning lineup carried three sophomores and three juniors 2. Its coach, Johnny Revill, credited the programs around him.
