Jordan District says a junior is training with the U.S. Women's National Team in volleyball

A junior at a Jordan School District high school is training with the U.S. Women's National Team in volleyball and is being recruited by top-tier universities, the district said in its post describing Supercast episode 366 1.

The district described her as a standout and said she is being called a once-in-a-generation talent 1. In the episode, the district said, she and her head coach talk about her journey on the court, and she describes what training with the national team is like and what drives her on and off the court 1.

That account is the district's own announcement of the episode; the Ledger has not independently confirmed the recruitment or the training 1. The district did not give her age, her class standing beyond junior, or any results from the current season 1.

The Ledger is not naming the player or her school. She is a minor, and under its standards the paper publishes no names, schools or identifying detail for minors, in any context. The district's post names her, and a reader who wants the district's own account can find it at the source listed below 1.
