RIVERTON — Artwork by Jordan School District teachers is on display at Riverton City's "I Teach Art" exhibit, which the district said is a patriotic edition this year, with pieces celebrating America 250.
The exhibit is at the Old Dome Meeting Hall in Riverton. It is open Mondays from noon to 8 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon to 5 p.m., and it runs through Oct. 21, according to the district, which pointed residents to Riverton City's exhibits page for more information 1.
In its announcement the district thanked the educators who shared their talents for the show. It did not describe individual pieces or say how many teachers contributed work.
The exhibit puts teachers' own art in a city venue rather than a school hallway, giving residents a look at what the educators who teach in Jordan District classrooms make outside them. The district said this year's pieces take up the America 250 theme.
