The week ahead in Herriman: the Oct. 21 Planning Commission meeting is cancelled

HERRIMAN — Herriman's Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21 has been cancelled, according to a cancellation notice the city posted to the Utah Public Notice Website on Oct. 15 1.

The notice gives the meeting's start as 6 p.m. on Oct. 21 and states that the meeting "has been CANCELLED," directing residents to the next Planning Commission meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026. It was signed by Angela Hansen, deputy city recorder, who certified the notice was posted Oct. 15 and listed a notice deadline of 3 p.m. on Oct. 20 1.

The commission's published schedule sets its meetings on the first and third Wednesdays, with a work meeting at 6 p.m. in the Fort Herriman Conference Room and the general meeting at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Herriman City Hall, 5355 W Main Street 2. Oct. 21 is the third Wednesday of the month.

The city's calendar page still listed the Planning Commission meeting for Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. when checked on Oct. 18, with a link to meeting information 3. The cancellation notice is the later document: it was posted Oct. 15, five days before its own deadline for the meeting 1.

No City Council meeting falls in the week. The city lists council meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays, with a work meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Fort Herriman Conference Room and the general meeting at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers 4. The council's most recent noticed meeting was a regular session on Oct. 14, beginning at 5:30 p.m. 5, which puts the next one on Oct. 28.

The council also gave notice on Oct. 15 of an ordinance adopted at that Oct. 14 meeting, held at 7 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers at 5355 West Herriman Main Street; the adoption notice lists an event period running from Oct. 15 to Oct. 31 6.
